My dear love poems
How do you see me doing today?
Do I look rather pale?
Or do I look a bit unreal?
Or might be that I've said a few lines to your ode?
But whatever be the reason,
I've loved your name on my skin
And those faint touches of salvation you carry
And some murmur of fresh love sagas
That takes me by my hand on some magic ride !!
That's just what love poems do, right?
But doesn't you also make me bleed out dry?
Makes me put my head in my hands
And sit down beside myself to look at my reflections?
You live your life full in my veins
Flourishing and nourishing in my soul
Cherishing all those words I had to say
And provoking me to reach my edge
And call out your name if I may hear an echo
That's what you always do to me
My lone love poems in bloom
Secret fantasies for freedom
And some white flowers as a bedside romance
But beside it all stays my blood shot eyes
And my learnings and yearnings
And how you tear my soul apart
If you could move mountains you should move my heart too
But I still drag my feet to reach you
Isn't it so hard to say I love you so much?
Or that I miss you when I'm entirely on my own?
It's not that hard to keep you away from my dreams
For you never leave my blind eyes
And when I'm completely under your spell
You draw me a new story all over again
Like another fairy tale with an ever after
And I see you smiling like never before
That's how you make me love again
My solitary fairy tales of love poems
Where two hearts beat as one
And I wait, wait and wait for the perfect time
To say once more how much I love to love you
